Microfiltration System

The average pore size of the microfiltration membrane is 0.02-10um, and it can intercept particles with a diameter of 0.05-10 or high molecular weight substances with a molecular weight greater than 1 million. The operating pressure difference is generally 0.01-0.2MPa. Under the action of the pressure difference, the raw liquid, in which water (solvent) flows through the micropores on the membrane to the low-pressure side of the membrane, is the permeate, and the particles larger than the membrane pores are intercepted, thereby achieving the separation of particles and solvents in the raw liquid. The microfiltration membrane allows macromolecules and soluble solids (inorganic salts) to pass through, but will intercept suspended matter, bacteria, and high molecular weight colloids. For microfiltration membranes, the separation mechanism is mainly screening and interception.
